SUNDAY, JULY 6, 2008
ECUMENICAL WORSHIP
9:30A.M.
LAKESIDE PARK, BAYPORT
We will join as a community to worship and give thanks for our great land on Sunday, July 6TH at 9:30am at Lakeside Park, Bayport, on the St. Croix River (two blocks E of Hwy. 95 on Central Ave.).
Participants will be from Bethlehem Lutheran and People s Congregational Churches. Rev. Karen Williams of Bethlehem Lutheran Church will give the meditation. The monetary offering will go to the Valley Outreach Emergency Fund and non-perishable food items will also be collected. Bring your chair/blanket and bring a friend! The Bayport Community Action League will provide coffee and lemonade following the service. In case of rain, the service will be at Bethlehem Lutheran Church.
This service is a tradition that began during the 1976 Bicentennial year.

PEOLE'S SUMMER STRETCH
Each Wednesday through July we will meet for service projects in the morning and fun activities in the afternoon. Summer Stretch is open to youth in 7th - 12th grade.

JULY 15TH
CHILDREN'S SUMMER DAY CAMP
Day Camp is for children 3 years old thru 6th grade.

PEOPLE'S YOGA CONTINUES THROUGHOUT THE SUMMER!
People's Yoga is currently offering a beginning Vinyasa Flow yoga class and a Senior Yoga class. Both are on-going and are held on Wednesdays.
Vinyasa Flow yoga, meeting at 11:30 am - 12:45pm, is an active yoga that combines breath and movement, while stringing poses together in a dance like fashion. Senior Yoga, offered from 1pm-2pm is practiced on chairs and with the use of props. Students move off the chair as they become stronger and more confident. Both classes are open to new students.
